Translation is a process involving
rewriting source language material into a target language
so it appears to have been originally written in the target language.
Spanish Medical
Translation (SMT) serves the entire United States from
its San Diego headquarters. We also operate
a Medical Translation Center in Mexico City, Mexico and Santiago, Chile.
Our translators, editors and proofreaders include MD's, residents,
interns, medical students, pharmacists and other highly-qualified
professionals. To insure the highest degree of accuracy, all
translators speak Spanish as their primary language.
At SMT,
we follow a three-step translation process:

The edited material is reviewed.
Editing and review of translated
materials ensures accuracy, consistency, correct formatting and
overall quality of the final
product – exactly what is needed to meet the expectations
of an international audience.
Ensuring the overall quality of

Manager who, as our clients'
liaison, supervises
translators,
editors, and review staff during the translation
